I was not a newbie at Tony Robbins events. I had previously attended Unleash The Power Within in London (Apr 2018), and watched I'm Not Your Guru, I sort of knew what to expect. Having attended previous events, I was also aware of the 6 basic human needs - Certainty, Uncertainty, Significance, Love/Connection, Growth, Contribution. You can change your state whenever you want to, and change the way you act. Whatever you focus on, energy flows
I decided to attend this event as this is Tony's flagship program, and I've heard good things about it from multiple trusted sources. Earlier last year, I joined Tony's Platinum Partnership Program (85k USD for all events and ~10k more for each Plat event), so this event was included. Tickets typically go for 4k-10k depending on the seat, and time of purchase. It is also cheaper if you buy through a platinum partner or if you order as a group at events such as UPW.
Before attending the event I had already read Dale Carnegie's The Art of Public Speaking; hence I was aware of how important being good at public speaking was, and the difference it can make for your career if you were a good speaker vs an average speaker.
I also had two friends who have previously attended the event and they have briefed me on "the anatomy of a speech" section as well as the exercises that were going to be done.
"Engage From Your Stage is a truly transformational experience with only 6 participants where you will erase limitation and become more comfortable being uncomfortable. You'll rehearse until you embody the proven verbal and physical communication skills and discover the importance of syntax and how to better engage and persuade your listeners with integrity, while you move your audience towards your desired call to action with your message."Source

This is actually a popular model and a lot of people have used this and it worked really well in the past. It's a one time launch thing where you hype it up before the launch. My plan was to combine this with a 14 or 21 day challenge and TPB (from Brendon's online course creation)
Since I'm planning on launching an online course, and I want to try out this Launch formula. Since lots of people have used it in the past and it worked for them, my hypothesis is that it could still be a good model in Asia.
It's important for me to test out various...
I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed up for this. I had previously done a few of Brendon Burchard's online courses and loved them, and since this event fitted into my calendar perfectly (another event ended 1 day earlier in Las Vegas and I could fly back from SF after attending this event in Santa Clara), I decided to go for it.
Mainly, I wanted to see Brendon Burchard live; I did not know what I did not know.
What is Experts Academy Live: " Brendon Burchard and the world’s most experienced influencers as they share their business models, audience growth strategies, social media campaigns, and modern monetization strategies for book deals, online sales, sponsorships, brand deals, documentaries, appearances, and partnerships." source
Wow. I never realised how many coaches there were. The first day was spent understanding how these 'Experts' business work, and why you can do a lot of good in the world by being...

Before reading this book I was already aware of a few things: 1. relying only on willpower will never work, because when we're tired or aren't feeling at our best it's easy to give up on things we set out to do 2. there is the internal and external component to living a disciplined life 3. it's...

Hi, I'm Wayne, and I'm a learning junkie.
Counting back the last 10 years, I've spent more than $300k USD investing in my own self-improvement, and here's the story of how I got started.
My first encounter with coaching was when I started Bowling. During my peak year I was training 5x/week for the National Under-23 team, 3x/week with my school, 1x/week with my country club, and 1x/week 1-on-1.
I started 1-on-1 coaching when I wanted to break into the national youth team, and thankfully my parents understood how important it was to me. They were struggling with their business but yet they sacrificed their own lifestyle so that I could afford Bowling equipment and coaching. For this and many other reasons, I'm eternally grateful.
The most memorable story of how they came to realise how important this was to me was when I went home with my exam results. I was about 14 or 15 years old. I did not do well on the exams and my Mum said she was going to make me quit...
